We partnered with Phillip Capital Management to create a distinctive branding and communication design direction for its investment product, translating financial strategy into a clear and memorable visual narrative.

Established in Singapore in 1995, Phillip Capital Management (PCM) is the asset management arm of Phillip Capital Group, serving both individual and institutional investors. With a presence across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and London, PCM combines local market knowledge with cross-regional insight to identify strategic investment opportunities.

For the Phillip-China Universal MSCI China A 50 Connect ETF, the project focused on communicating PCM’s confidence, precision, and expertise in navigating the Chinese market. The brand communication needed to reflect both financial credibility and the growth potential of China’s evolving investment landscape.

{ Key Visual Design }

The key visual for Phillip Capital Management expresses the discipline, agility, and precision behind strategic investing, translating the fund’s market outlook into a bold and culturally relevant communication system.

At the centre of the design is a Wushu Master, chosen as a visual metaphor for mastery, control, and swift decision-making. Referencing traditional Chinese martial arts, the figure reflects the ability to move with confidence through changing market conditions while identifying opportunities within China’s dynamic investment landscape.

The circular fire ring reinforces the idea of momentum, continuity, and growth. Inspired by Chinese visual culture, it frames the composition with energy and movement, while the pairing of expressive brush-style typography with modern sans-serif type balances tradition with financial clarity. The result is a communication design that feels distinctive, confident, and easy to recognise across brand touchpoints.

Phillip Capital Management’s key visual was extended across investor-facing touchpoints to create a consistent communication system that feels confident, distinctive, and aligned with the fund’s strategic outlook.

Across digital and print applications, the Wushu Master, circular fire ring, and blended typography work together to express precision, agility, and market expertise. Each element was adapted to maintain visual consistency while supporting clear communication for the Phillip-China Universal MSCI China A 50 Connect ETF.

From social media assets and campaign visuals to brochures, reports, presentation materials, and event backdrops, the communication design creates a unified brand experience. The result is a cohesive visual language that helps PCM present its investment product with clarity, professionalism, and impact.
