Most branding agencies in Singapore are not accredited management consultants. Accreditation is a separate professional standard, assessed against SS 680:2021, the Singapore Standard for Management Consultants. It is held by individual consultants rather than companies, and it is recognised by Enterprise Singapore.
Creativeans is led by two accredited consultants. Managing Director Kimming Yap holds Registered Management Consultant certification RMC-10276, issued by the Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore) and valid to 30 June 2029. Co-founder Yulia Saksen holds Certified Management Consultant certification CMC-0137, the international designation accredited by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes, which carries reciprocal recognition in the United States, the United Kingdom and 48 other countries.
Both entries are on the IMCS public register and can be checked independently. Kimming is listed under his full legal name, Yap Kim Ming.

Enterprise Singapore recognises three certifications for management consultants, all assessed against SS 680:2021: RMC from the Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore), PMC from the Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council, and SCMC from TÜV SÜD PSB. All three are assessed against the same standard, and none ranks above the others.
Above these sits CMC, the international designation. It is awarded through institutes in around 50 countries and accredited by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes, so a CMC earned in Singapore is recognised in other member countries. The Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore) describes RMC as the pathway toward it.
Accreditation records the specific domains a consultant has been assessed in, not a general licence. Ours are recorded on the register.

There are two reasons, one practical and one about quality.
Where a project includes management consultancy costs supported by a government grant, Enterprise Singapore requires the consultant to hold a certification assessed against SS 680:2021. A consultant without one cannot support that part of an application.
Beyond that, accreditation sets a floor. SS 680:2021 covers competence, methodology and ethical conduct. It says nothing about creative quality and is no substitute for reviewing the work. What it tells you is that a consultant has been independently assessed rather than self-declared.
You do not have to take an agency's word for it. Ask for four things.

Ask for the certification type and number, not just the words "certified" or "accredited". Ours are RMC-10276 and CMC-0137.
01
Ask for the name of the individual who holds it, and whether that person will work on your project. Certification belongs to a person, not a firm.
02
Check the public register entry. IMCS, SBACC and TÜV SÜD each publish one.
03
Confirm that it is assessed against SS 680:2021. The earlier TR 43 standard has been superseded, so anyone still citing it should confirm they have migrated.

Creativeans has built brands from Singapore since 2012, working across brand strategy, identity, packaging, UI/UX and experience design through our BrandBuilder© methodology.
Accreditation is one input, not the whole picture. We would rather you judged us on the work. Start with the case studies, then check the credentials.
