Bringing Paint Products to Life with Narrative-Driven Packaging and Print

THE CREATIVE CHALLENGE
Existing print and packaging lacked story and emotional connection, making products feel generic
  • The annual Colour My World catalogue needed a theme that would tie the collections together into a meaningful seasonal message

  • The colour of the year “Jasper Green” had to be presented in a way that feels soothing, natural and relevant for home interiors

  • Packaging design across labels, colour cards, and point-of-sale lacked consistency and did not communicate the unique benefits of each paint line

  • The display packaging for premium lines needed more visual appeal to capture users’ attention at dealers and resellers

Created packaging and print works that connect emotionally and enhance product presence and clarity
  • Renamed/addressed the catalogue under the theme With You Through Life, aligning colours to life stages and home moments

  • Presented “Jasper Green” in catalogue design anchored by natural tones, vivid representation, and relevance to living spaces

  • Designed and produced packaging labels, colour cards and point-of-sale displays that are visually consistent and address user needs clearly

  • Developed a premium display box for Gold Paint packaging that evokes the surprise of a treasure chest, enhancing interest and delight

COLOUR OF THE YEAR 2020
We collaborated with Nippon Paint to redesign its annual Colour My World catalogue. The 2020 catalogue features the colour of the year "Jasper Green", a soothing hue of nature ideal for living room, bedroom or kitchen. The new catalogue design aims to feature Nippon colours revolving around the vivid and true colours of nature.

We were able to launch a new Colour My World that was a great style from previous versions. My GM saw it today and gave praises on it. He said to introduce the agency behind this to him some day 🥳
